Prix de Rome 2002, Photography, Film & Video

The Prix de Rome is the most prestigious Dutch award for artists aged 35 or younger. The prize is awarded in ten areas of art and architecture. In a five-year cyclus two fields are covered annually. In 2002 these were Photography and Film & Video, with first prizes for Elspeth Diederix and Igor Sevcuk.
De Prix de Rome is de belangrijkste staatsprijs voor jonge kunstenaars tot en met 35 jaar. De prijs wordt uitgereikt op tien terreinen van beeldende kunst en architectuur, waarbij in een vijfjarige cyclus jaarlijks twee categorieën aan bod komen. In 2002 waren dat Fotografie en Film & Video, met eerste prijzen voor Elspeth Diederix en Igor Sevcuk.
